This post reminds me of a time when I lived in LA. My roommate at the time (and best friend from high school) - who went to UCLA - took me with her and her buddies to the Rosebowl to watch a game. I brought a newspaper and didn't look up more than a few times the entire game. They still talk about it. I cannot stand football!
